Google--windows 7 upgrade advisor. Microsoft has a tool that will check your computer to see if it can run windows 7.
2010-3-9 7:26:20they managed to run Windows 7 on a 256 MB RAM, some 800 MHz(0.8 GHz) and 40 GB HDD.
GHz means gigahertz, its the speed of your processor. the more GHz u have, the faster your PC. Your PC will run Windows 7 just fine
Ghz stands for Giga Hertz. it is a unit that measures cycles per second. so a 2.66GHz processor makes 2.66 Billion (giga = billion) cycles per second.
1Ghz processor
1GB of RAM (x86) or 2GB of RAM(x64)
16GB (x86) or 20GB (x64) HDD space
DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
Those are the requirements.
So you have enough Hard drive memory to run x86 or x64 versions. you have enough RAM to run the x86 version only though. I dont know your CPU or graphics card, so your gonna need to confirm those. I assume you'll want the x86 version.
