Answer

You could use system restore to help you restore all thing before you delete it.
1.Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.
3.On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to then click Next. On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
5.Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
6.The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click O

Other Answer

ok well first if its all gone, depends on how you deleted it its all gone and you need to hire someone to recover you info and it can get expensive. as for the led flashing, just google that and it should tell you what that means.

Most computers have a restore to factory setting hidden on the hard-drive run this A forum will tell you how and your computer will be back to how it was out of the box. this means you will have only lost your personal data which you can backup beforehand.

Oh dear, I think most of us have made a similar mistake at one point or another. The solution to your problem depends on whether or not you have already backed up your important files. If you have, rebuilding your laptop to its factory setting or something close to it will be relatively simple.
However if your only copy of those files in on the laptop it would be best to back them up now before you make your next move. A good start will probably be to back up your my documents and desktop folders.

Recycle bin can only store a limited amount of deleted data . If you deleted a large amount of data lets say >5 gb you wont be able to recover that. But you are saying that there is nothing in the recycle bin , that means its gone , and i am really sorry that it cannot be recovered.
The only thing you can try is in the view option of windows explorer change the setting to view hidden file . Check if there is any hidden file .
For the blue light i dont think their is nothing wrong in it.
