My computer screen goes black every 10 minutes,how do I change this?
It gets annoying when I am watching a movie.

a little late to answer this but you brought it over we worked on it and found you clicked the wrong check box now it is fixed lol good job.

go to the control panel click on scream resolution u will se all the option and pick the better for u

2010-3-9 11:14:00I agree with Lexie. It sounds like you need to change your power settings.
You can also get to the power settings with Start --> Run --> powercfg.cpl
Take off any screen saver you might have and change power options. On my computer I right click on the desk top, click on screen saver, then change power settings. Check the box that says monitor goes to sleep 'never'. Hope that helps.

if win 7

and type power option in the search
choose the 1 st 1 of the 3
down the right pane
you get options
select choose when display turns off
drop down menu change to never for both
save changes
