Question

Why wont my monitor work on 1024 x 768 resolution?

Ive recently bought a game and it requires 1024 x 768 resolution. my monitor can do far more than that but I cant play this game or use that screen resolution. I am using a HDMI cable, should I be using VGA? Please help

Answer

*IF* you can use 1024x768 with everything else but th3 game you mentioned then yu most likely have a bad install of the game or their programming for that prticualr mode is faulty. Check the game maker's web site for any updates of the game...
*IF* you can't use the mode at all, then you have either one of three problems.
1: Your game install glitched for that mode
2: Their prgrogramming for that mode is bad
3: You video card id bad or the driver for that mode is bad or glitched
2: Your monitor's circuitry for that mode is faulty
Try using another monitor
Reinstall the drivers for your video card
Reinstall the game
Check the game maker's site for updates
