How do I fix my laptop screen?
After playing Age of Empires 1, all the colours on the screen are inverted and distorted. It works fine for AOE but not for anything else. I have tried changing the theme and appearance and rebooting it but that doesn't work. How do I fix it?

Did you try going into your control panel from the start menu then look for display and click on that to get display settings, then look at the settings tab to see what your color quality is set to. I think it should be something like 32bits or try resetting it to the old settings.

Older games particulary stuff made for windows 98 have a habit of doing this when you exit them .You can right click on the game icon and do properties/compatability mode/disable visual themes disable advanced text etccc.Try previous answer first if all tis fails then update reinstall video drivers
