Question

ATI Radeon HD 4870x2 or ATI Radeon HD 5870?

Well heres the deal, I currently have a Radeon HD 4870x2. Recently however, I have been thinking about getting the Radeon HD 5870, but when I compare them I just can't seem to tell if the 5870 is a better enough card for me to be spending
399.99 on it. Can anyone who knows about this type of stuff tell me what they think? Thank you.

Radeon 5870 Hands down. I currently own one, As you may know they support dx11, and tesselation. This provides support for all future dx11 games, and is a future-proof card atm. If you've got the money, and want to be able to play the dx11 titles, I'd go with the 5870. Not only is it a lot cooler & quieter, but it runs more efficiently (uses up less power) and is a lot more powerful (1 gpu chip beating two, lols). So yeah its a fairly good investment Imho
