How to figure out if fan is compatible with motherboard?
I'm looking at a build involving this motherboard,

and I don't know how to tell if the motherboard is compatible with any fans. Can someone provide information on how to check the compatibility or if possible, can someone provide a fan that would be compatible with this motherboard? I'm on a budget, so please keep as low cost as possible.

when you buy your AMD CPU it includes the fan and the heatsink inside, and as your mother-board is AMD-capable it definitely supports the fan of your CPU,
and about the other fans in chassis I gotta say that they have nothing to do with the motherboard and they get their power from the powercase, however by my experience, if you don't want you computer to slow down, don't connect the extra fans of chassis to the power line that is connected to your harddisks.
you can connect those fans to the power line which is connected to your Disk Drive or etc. :)

The socket type is AM2/AM2+/AM3. So any heatsink made for any of those sockets will work, provided that the CPU is the same.

As the ad indicates, you will need an AM2, AM2+ or AM3 processor for that motherboard. The processor usually comes with a heat sink and fan. If it does not, get a heat sink/fan for a AM2/AM2+/AM3 motherboard.

That is really no problem...
I have never seen a fan that doesn't fit a certain motherboard..Except maybe manufacture mobo like HP,Dell,etc...
but since your buying it,assuming to build a system,any fan should fit

That is an AMD+2 for 1 and basically compatible with everything out there and 2 fans don't need to be compatible with anything its like saying can headphone be compatible with an audio jack and 3 tigerdirect.com it the best place to get the cheapest durable products out there
