Answer

Did you mean DG31PR instead of DGP31R?

Why must the card be 1gb? The amount of video memory is not an important spec when comparing video cards- it doesn't tell you how well a card performs. For example a 512mb GeForce 9800GT is still 4X faster than a 1gb 9500GT.
1gb of video memory only matters at very high resolutions, above 1900x1200. At resolutions of 1440x900, 1280x1024 or lower, 1gb cards perform identically to 512mb cards. If you have a 30" monitor then having 1gb does help, but the card model is still more important than video RAM...
A good choice for general use is the ATI Radeon HD 4650 or Nvidia GT220. For medium gaming, a Radeon 5760 or GT240.

Better gaming cards like the Radeon 4770 and GeForce 9800GT require a 400W power supply. For cards like the GTS 250, Radeon 4850 or 5770 you'll want 500W.
