Can a computer virus read your cookies?

Absolutely! A computer virus can completly control your computer if it is not setup properly. A virus that would use your cookies would likely be spyware and would use those cookies to push out adds to you for various products that your likely to use based upon your cookies.

Virus's can do anything. It can read anything and hack anything. Its more appropriate if you call it a pup though. Pup is a Potentially unwanted program. Which includes virus, worms and trojans.
Very dangerous and be safe. Only download from sites that you trust and that is trusted by Utrust or some website like that.
