Question

When I highlight text, it's this really light blue. How to I get it back to normal?


I changed some settings on a Voip program to run it on Windows Vista posing as XP, and first of all i have no idea how to change it back + now my highlighting color is really light blue. How to I change back to normal?

try this
Right click the desktop and
select Properties/Appearance Tab/Advanced Button. In the Item drop down menu
use the "Application" and "Window" items to change the background and font
colors.

Dear Friend,
Try doing the following procedure:
1. Click on blank space on the Desktop.
2. Go to Personalise.
3. Click Windows Colour Appearance.
4. Click Open Classic Appearance Properties for More Colour Options.
5. In the new Advanced Appearance dialog box, click select Selected Items option from the Item drop-down box.
6. Select Colour 1 and click OK> OK, and close the Personalise window by saving your changes.
7. Log your computer off, and then re-login.
If the problem persists, change the Theme of your system to Windows Default Theme by doing the following procedure:
1. Click on blank space on the Desktop.
2. Go to Personalise.
3. Click Theme.
4. Select the default Windows theme, and save your changes.
5. Log your computer off, and then re-login.
